Express Upgrades and Backups with USB support
The USB port is purposed to make express firmware upgrades and Syslog backups and configuration, eliminating the need for expensive equipment like notebooks. When ethernet switches need to be replaced or configured a USB flash drive comes in handy to speed up the work shortening the time spent on installation and maintenance.
Resistant to Extreme Environments
The device is built with Industrial grade components, tested in-house, and certified for reliable operation in harsh environmental conditions by international market safety organizations like CE, FCC, and ROHS. Strong tolerance to extreme temperatures -40℃~75℃ (-40°F~167°F) and resistance to interference makes this device infallible in demanding industrial environments around multiple types of machinery.
Always On and Active
To guarantee continuous power flow, the switch is designed to be simultaneously connected to two power supplies and an alarm. When the primary power supply stops working, the switch will start using the alternative power supply automatically and trigger a notification alarm.
Third-Party Device Compatibility and Speed Adaptability
The multi-rate ports of this device are enabled to transmit data at different Ethernet speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbps on copper and 100/1000 Mbps on fiber, and adapt to the Ethernet speed of third party devices based on their requirements. When legacy devices are connected to the switch, it auto-negotiates with the device, reducing the need for additional adaptors to adjust to a tight budget.
Manages Remote PDs from the Control Room
Compliant with PoE+ (IEEE 802.3 af/at) standard, this device can provide up to 30W/port to all connected PDs but limits power consumption to only enough for the devices to work protecting them from sudden power spikes. The switch management interface uses PD control features, like PD-alive check and PoE scheduling, to control remote devices from a central location.
- PD alive Check - check the live active status of the device and reboots devices when needed, reducing expensive trips to remote locations to save valuable time.
- PD scheduling - Ethernet switches can schedule the time they supply power to PDs to reduce power consumption and allocate enough power to important applications to save operational costs.
Eco-Friendly and Energy Saving
The Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) standard reduces power consumption during periods of low link utilization, to save power.
Loop-Free and Quick Recovery
Factory processes are time-sensitive and need to avoid at all costs the abrupt interruption of a system caused by loops. This device is equipped with ring protocols such as RSTP, ERPS, and Xpress Ring to provide automatic backup paths to ensure loop-free transmission and quick recovery in sub-milliseconds when an active link fails.
Network at Glance with a Smart Topology Map
For easy problem finding and troubleshooting, a birds-eye view of the network gives OT and IT users a comprehensive understanding. The Ethernet switch uses smart technology to discover third-party devices, their interface, and link path status in a tri-color code (green, amber, and red). Furthermore, users can set up the map with customized icons and background images.
Real-Time Notifications to your Personal Devices
Syslog reports of network anomalies and status, including in the software, hardware, and the network of this device are sent through email notifications to your personal devices to provide unceasing 24 hr monitoring.
Shielded against Cyberattacks
By securing the switch with a log-in password, only authorized users are allowed to access and configure the device. To increase security, the device complies with cybersecurity standards by using security protocols like TACACS+ (Terminal Access Controller Access-Control System Plus) and RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service), and protect from network intrusion and data leakage.
