IRF-629 is a RS-422/485 to Fiber media converter. The device uses LED signaling to inform users of its transmission activity. Ideal for manufacturing floors with legacy devices that use serial port connectivity. The device is available in single- and multi-mode interface with data transmission delivery at distances of 2km/30km/60km/100km depending on request. For added flexibility, this media converter is available with ST, and SC connectors. This media converter operates between temperatures of 0°C~50°C (32°F~122°F). The device has a standard size to fit on an in-rack solution with multiple media converters.
